Discussion Groups
At Shine Academy, our discussion groups complement regular lessons and provide students with a safe, interactive space to reflect, ask questions, and deepen their understanding of Islam. Each session is carefully tailored to your child’s age and learning level, ensuring that content and activities match their maturity and comprehension.
We keep our groups small and focused, with a maximum of 6–10 students per session, so every child has the opportunity to participate, share ideas, and receive personalized guidance from the teacher.
How Our Discussion Groups Work
- Age-Appropriate Groups: Primary, Middle, and High School students have sessions designed specifically for their developmental stage.
- Interactive Learning: Students engage in guided conversations, collaborative activities, and thought-provoking questions that foster critical thinking and confidence.
- Safe and Supportive Environment: Every session is moderated to encourage respectful dialogue and positive social interaction.
- Flexible Schedule: Groups meet once or twice a month, with session durations optimized for attention and engagement:
- Primary: 30–40 min
- Middle: 40–50 min
- High: 50–60 min
- Individual Support: Students who want extra guidance can join mini one-on-one discussion sessions.
